After a gap up on (what else) European headlines the indexes have been grinding around with little up or down movement. Next week is screwed up with a holdiay in the middle (Tuesday is a short session too) and with today being the end of the 2nd quarter and 1st half ... perhaps everyone is just looking to close up shop and start the weekend.
