It's with a heavy heart that I share the news with you that our very own Mr. Julio has passed on to the other side as of last Sunday, August 2nd. Julio was one of the first ones to make a comment on this blog when I set it up 9 years ago. Although I never met him face to face, it was clear to me that he was a very special person to everyone he interacted with. He was dedicated to serving others through his volunteer work, and had a special place in his heart for animals. I can't even remember how many stories he shared on this blog over the years about his volunteer work at his local animal shelter. There were too many to count and he always had a way of blending in his great sense of humor.
A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he is survived by his wife of 58 years, son, daughter, and grandson.
Julio will be missed by many, and my heart goes out to his family as they grieve the loss of such a wonderful man.
Julio - I will miss you man..... You were a kind soul and I am grateful to have been blessed with your presence here all these years. 💙
