It is not the best of times and not the worst. Our cheerleader is still positive but, with the major indices down slightly on the day, the energy is muted.
In the morning we would not be surprised to see a headline battle between payrolls and the ongoing soap opera from Europe. Until evidenced otherwise this remains a news-driven market that favors the nimble. (Did I miss any platitudes? I'm sure you'll note such in the comments section.)
Enjoy the evening and don't hesitate to photograph your pet in the most embarrassing costumes possible. We don't want to say that we are desperate but we also don't want to discourage your creativity. As always the decision is up to you.
