Introducing "The Algo Lounge"

A place where you can say any darn thing which comes into your mind.  Somewhere which is totally un-moderated.  All of your (consenting adult) friends will be there.  Your friends who don't want to play that way will look, and back away.

(It's the best idea I have, guys. If you got mo bettah idea, speak up right quick.  We've lost too many good people because they don't want to wade through extraneous "stuff".)

Good afternoon... it looks like some are having trouble with comments. I am putting up a new thread to see if it works. Click on "Thursday afternoon" at the top to load comments, and see if it works for you.

Hope everyone is doing great today! Looks like a decent bounce to SPX 1800ish.

SPECIAL NOTE: In order to get comments to work properly, I cleared my browser cache and it fixed the problem in Firefox and Chrome.

Well .... looks like it's not coming back to the 200 day.  If you want to trade it like a flag it should make 10. A 10% gain could be worth pursuing.  Tight stop is required.  JMO

Our own sweet southern has been yippin' (smile darlin') about McDermott for the last week and with good  reason.  It's doing the breakout thing on increasing volume and has not slowed down yet.  It would be a real good entry if the stock would come back and test the 200 day sma from above.  Buying the bounce would allow for a tight stop so you could take a fairly large bite.  If the stock just keeps going then you will either need to start small or just recognize one that got away.
